We have a brand new DT over at Scrapdango, and this blog hop is a way to introduce them. You will learn a little about each of them, and they will each post a challenge. You have until next Friday the 20th at midnight EST to post comments on each blog and to complete the DT challenges. There will also be other ways to earn draws, and one lucky person is going to win a fantastic prize of one of Scrapdango's fabulous kits chock full of scrappy goodness. Here is the breakdown of how you can earn draws.
--1 draw by posting comments on each DT member's blog (must comment on all blogs to get the draw)
--1 draw for each challenge that you complete. Please provide a link to your challenge in a comment.
--1 draw for becoming or already being a Scrapdango Blog follower
--1 draw for becoming or already being a fan of Scrapdango on Facebook
--2 draws for correctly answering quiz questions on the DT members. The quiz can be found on the Scrapdango forum at http://www.scrapdango.com/forums/sho...705#post154705
About Me:
My name is Megan aka megamay and I am thrilled to be on the Scrapdango design team this term! I work as a software engineer and live outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with my husband, 5 year old daughter, and our 8 year old Beagle. I have been scrapping for about 6 years, since my husband and I came back from a 3 month backpacking trip to Europe. I started scrapbooking with a goal of preserving memories, but now I do it because I love EVERYTHING about it. I love the feel and smell of the papers. I love the online community. I love preserving my memories and expressing my creativity. I love having alone time and being able to relax through artistic creation. Yep, I love it all!
I describe my style as layered and detailed with lots of color and plenty of clean lines and whitespace. How's that for a mouthful? And totally clear as mud right? You will see what I mean though as you get to know my work. My favorite manufacturers right now are Webster's Pages, Sassafras Lass and My Mind's Eye - probably in that order although that changes sometimes. I love using texture, in fact I can't make a flat page EVER! There has to be some dimension and some softness - whether it comes from ribbons, or distressing. Oh and speaking of distressing: I ink EVERYTHING! It is a rare occurrence that the edge of a paper escapes my ink pads.
And now you want to head on to Ellen's blog.
