happy Birthday card

this card is from the priscillastyles sketch, which I missed the submission deadline for. It is also using the colour create colors for this week - lilac, mint and yellow. Also it is for the Bee crafty anything goes challenge, the cute card - no die cuts of punches challenge, the spoonful of sugar 3 flowers, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon challenge, the papertake weekly 3-2-1 challenge and the flourishes lace challenge.

Wow, I sure managed to pack a lot in there. But then, this is the only thing I got done that I can share this weekend, so I wanted to make the most of it.

Giveaway!

I recently received a very nice and very unexpected gift from a friend. It inspired me to pay it forward and make someone else's day. I have had these papers laying around for a bit, meaning to give them away, but I kept forgetting or procrastinating. So, here I have the entire set of Reminisce sports from this past year's release - basketball, baseball, golf, bowling, football, tennis, soccer - stickers, diecuts, papers - the whole shebang. (I might have missed one in the list here) Also, the safari line from Reminisce from maybe two years ago, including stickers, letters and papers. And finally, most of a kit that I got somewhere, it has some tinkering ink papers, some scenic route papers, and some rub-on letters.

Wanna win it? get one entry by leaving a comment here on this post, and another entry by becoming a follower (or if you are already a follower) and leaving a separate comment here letting me know you want your second entry.

I forgot about this

I was holding on to this when I was entertaining the idea of applying for Prima's DT. I finally decided that I am not a good match for Prima, but forgot to post this. It's an altered plastic can that used to hold protein shake powder. It's in my gallery at ACOT, along with the supplies I used (which are out of stock there right now)
This can matches my kitchen - yellow/cream walls, red cabinets and black accents. Like a coffee poster. It might sound a little odd, but it works. I love it!

In other news, this week is looking much better than last week. I got some scrapping in over the weekend - as you could probably tell. I just decided to let myself play - which for me usually involves lots of challenges. I had a blast though, and used up a lot of that Indie Girl paper! Although, happily I am not tired of it yet. I don't know if I ever will be! But I thought with TWO packs of it I would get tired.

Sass Lass layout from pencil lines sketch

This is a layout that I created with the new Indie Girl papers from Sass Lass. (I accidentally ordered TWO collection packs, but that's ok because I am LOVING it!) What ISNT going on in this layout - we have misting, coloring, layering, staples etc. I threw in a little bit of purple because her outfit is purple, and I wanted it to coordinate. The purple works great with this collection!

The 'E' on the corner is from DD. She is always trying to put stuff on my layouts, or giving me stickers and things and telling me they are for my projects. I usually deflect her, but this time I thought I could work it in - it IS her initial. I inked it a little to tone down the bright green.

Graphic 45 reveal at ACOT

My graphic 45 reveal is up at ACOT today. Check out the article HERE.

But here is a peek at my favorite project from this reveal - an altered pumpkin treat holder.

Pagemaps entry and crop class

Here is the layout that I created for the latest Pagemaps sketch contest. I rotated the sketch and used one larger photo instead of 3 small ones.

Everything on here is Sass Lass except the buttons, glimmer mist and '4' which I cut using my cricut.

Last night I hosted my crop class at ACOT. In the class I teach you how to create a 12x12 school project keepsake book that is a standard 3-hole punch size, so you can use a 3-hole punch to punch holes in all of your child's projects and easily add them to this book. There are even pockets for smaller items. I used the Bo Bunny Block party papers and they are perfect for this school themed project. Check out the pics here. and the whole class HERE.
