I used the sketch from the stampin royalty blog challenge and created the sentiment for the Blog tiffany grief challenge - I hate making sympathy cards but I really like to have some on hand, so this was a great challenge. It is also for the jacksonbelle challenge to use a special occasion paper on an everyday card. the white paper here is a christmas paper. Finally it is for the lilyboo too challenge to use a tag and a ribbon. I know it looks like more than one ribbon but I just cut it up into smaller pieces.

Design Dollies Trifecta entry
This page was inpired by the three challenges this week at the design dollies blog - sketch, color and elements. The elements challenge was to use the song 'my favorite things' from the sound of music. I used the 'raindrops on roses' line and represented it with the blue drops of glimmer mist. I also used the 'brown paper packages tied up with string' line and represented it with the string tied around the photo. then I noticed that there were a lot of colors mentioned in the song and I put them all together - silver, white, brown, blue, copper, etc - and interpreted that into my subject and photo. Initially I lined up all the crayons and pencils of different colors to represent all the colors in the song, but then I editied it so much in photoshop that now you really can't tell. On the other hand, doing art with my daughter is definitely one of my favorite things in the world, so the whole theme is about one of my favorite things.
Here is the color and sketch inspiration:
popular guy
this page was inspired by the ad challenge at dotty divas and the sketch from sketchy thursdays.
for the inspiration from the ad, I used the black and white and the pops of color from the butterflies. and also mu subject was inspired by the butterflies.

baby card
Here is the card that I made for my cousin's baby shower. I used the sketch from the paper take weekly blog and the color scheme from the spcc blog and I finished the inside of the card, for the first time EVER, for the Moxxie Fab challenge. I even made a matching bow for the gift, although something went wrong with the bow, it didnt work out as well as bows I have made in the past.

challenge up at NVS!
Check it out - the first challenge has been posted at NVS and there is a prize from the lovely teaspoon etsy store.
Here is my layout:
I was inspired by the plaid which I brought into the patterned paper. Also the black and white photo with the mug shot sign which I added digitally. I also used the words from the top right corner. Im not sure if it was supposed to say 'pay attention to me' but that's what it looked like to me. Also I brought in the belt and the words which I added by stamping on my background paper. And if that's not enough, I brought in the spray paint from the shirt with glimmer mist and the color of the shirt and the bag with the kraft paper.
Supplies: kraft Bazzil cardstock, Pink Paislee letters, Doodlebug ribbon, tim holtz gears, My Mind's Eye paper, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, Basic Grey patterned paper, stamp from 7 gypsies and glitz designs, journaling spot from YMBD, misc key and lace.
