sketchy thursdays entry

this one is from the sketch thursdays sketch. I used the cosmo cricket papers that I won from them last month. (love these!) and just a little hint here, but Im going to be doing a giveaway in a couple of weeks. I took one sheet of each pattern from these two packs and will be sharing the fun (along with some other goodies from my stash) so you might want to become a follower to make sure you dont miss it. (It'll be after Halloween since things are crazy around here until then due to Ellies birthday)

ACOT CT Appreciation Crop and Challenge

the community at ACOT is having a crop for all of us CT members, so we can play since we dont usually get to play at crops because we are hosting them. I had a blast! Its still going on today but I wont get to scrap anymore. :( oh well, it was still fun and I got a bunch of challenges done both for the crop and for some other blogs that Ive been following but not participating in because I havent had much time to scrap lately.

So here is the first page that I made. I used the sketch from the scrapsketch blog. from last week. and the creative pandemonium challenge to use 2 colors of cardstock, 2 tags and one photo. (hope it was 2 or more tags because that's what I assumed)
The papers are from the front page of the cosmo cricket collection pack.

ACOT Oct Reveal

and in other (more sad) news, YMBD is closing it's doors this month. I am very sad and am going to miss the site, Cat, and all the ladies over there, but I want to wish Cat the very best.

and I got a new car! woohoo! We picked it up today and I wasnt sure that I was going to love it since I had my old car for so long, but I really do love it! it rides smooth, it has a lot of pick up!

what else is new? well Im getting a new car. Picking it up tomorrow. and I am really excited and happy but also sad. I am overly emotionally attached to my old car, so this morning driving it to work for the last time I started getting sad and wanted to post a memorial to it. So here is the page I made a few months ago about my love for my car.
